Hi all. I'm new here as of today. I'm fixing a bunch of little problems on my 73-year-old Father's '85 C4. The first problem that occured on the drive to my house was the dreaded accelerator pedal breaking off. Yikes! Who engineered that thing? Anyway, does anyone manufacture a steel or aluminum bracket so that I can get rid of the cheap plastic bracket? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might check over in the forum's autocross-roadracing section. Mike Bohannan was a racer and the guy who designed and made them. They were sold through R-D Racing who themselves make many great Corvette products. There was still a supply of the pedal mounts left earlier this year but I don't know the status of that anymore. Someone over in the racing section might. I was privileged to know "Big Mike" as he was known and got mine directly from him. His forum name was Vettmike.
