Default Need perf cam that idles exactly as stock

Anyone know of perf cam that will idle just like stock? I have a 90 coupe, w/2.59 gears(I know)I have located a few candidates but i am looking for feed back. Here are a few of my options:
1)204 214 .429 .452 116
2)208 214 .438 .452 112
3)206 210 .450 .480 112
4)206 214 .497 .497 112
5)203 210 .476 .480 115

I am looking for a solid HP increase, yet to maintain stock idle(no lope) and a decent exhaust note. In addtion to a cam change i am pocket porting my heads, and bumping compression to 10:1.

If you stick with the higher lsa's it will have a smoother idle and better vac. As for how much duration you can run-anyone know what the #'s are on the ls1 and 6? I know they run near 117lsa and idle fine and pass the new smog. BTW-why not a little lope?

I did a cam change on an 87, promising my wife that the idle would be smooth...needless to say the 87 is gone. It was running a 214 224 .442 .465 112. This cam change will be done "under cover" so I want to get it right the first time.

If you are doing it to be stealthy, your best bet is going to be careful consideration when it comes time to burning the chip. Right off the bat, you will most likely need to raise the idle to get it out of its lumpiness range, and also to improve the driveability a little bit.

With my cam, 214/224, .442/.465 (w/ 1.5's but I have 1.6's), I raised the idle about 120 RPM and trimmed out fuel. It smoothed out the idle.

The reason fuel needs to be trimmed out at lower RPM's is because the cam is less volumetrically efficient at lower RPMs but then the fuel needs to be added in the upper range. -Matt-

While you have your heads off, make sure you check out the guides and seals. You might be surprised at how mis-matched some of the castings are in certain areas due to core shift. The seat areas can have as much as a 1/16" of material restricting the flow. Polish the CC's also with the cross hatch Scotch Brite wheels. Your time just smoothing everything out (vs. actual porting) will be justly rewarded. You will like the results. You CR is already at ~ 10.2 :1 from tne factory in a '90. Use the Victor Reinz gasket with the .026" compressed thickness for a bump of ~1/2 point. LPE and others sell them for ~$46. for the pair.

IMHO, if you are going to go through all the aggrevation of the cam install, look at some of the slightly more aggressive grinds that will still idle well.
