I've messed with that same yr camaro gauge and there are alot of electrical issues associated with it,, its not just a plug and play.
What were the issues you ran into?
I don't have the vette electrical diagrams, but I'd imagine the vette is 90% the problem. I need to get the true signal wires from the gauges, directionals, high-beam, etc and wire them direct to the gauges from this panel. I'm planning on directly transplanting them into the C4 cluster.
GOOD JOB! i am going the diamond plate route with the nordskorg green led gages, digital goes to 200mph and the tach is 9999. but yours definately looks factory, sweeeeeeeet! im sure youll get some pm's from peeps who will want you to build them some! (it will pay for yours)!

If I ever switch to analog gauges this is the route I will be going, no offense to anesthes. I'm sure he's trying to make it look somewhat stock, good luck with it
Joe,
vss module, connectivity plug, electrical gauges and settings, etc... a complete rewire of the outputs and having the correct components... the fit is not an issue.
Here is one that i've done, and its alot of work:

I think I understand what your saying. I know the VSS Buffer is part of the cluster on the C4. I expect I will need to find the output signal wires from the harness and wire them to the appropriate gauges, and then wire the VSS signal into a fbody VSS buffer. Lot of work sure. Did you cut off the plug on your dash or make an adapter? From the pics of yours, it looks like your plug is mail but on my C4 cluster it is female? I bought a junk c4 cluster to mount my gauges in. I'm half tempted to grab half a dash/gauge harness out of a 90+ fbody and splice it to the appropriate C4 harness wires.
