I have an '86 Coupe. I live in Arizona where it never rains. Untill today. The wipers are jamming into eachother and about every stop light or so actually get tangled together and then I have to get out of the car and physically "unjam" them. I got the blades at Autozone and they say they are the right ones...Are they timed? Is there an adjustment? HELP!!

I have the same problem!! I live In Los Angeles and it is raining today. They only seemed to jam when I was turning severe enough for body flex. When they jamed I put them on high and they freed up. I think that one of the blades is too long

The quick answer is to put on a shorter wiper blade on the drivers side. You can also adjust the linkage to keep them further apart but this can cause the driver side wiper to go past the edge of the windshield. C4 wipers suck. They're also angled wrong.
The adjustment is under the plastic grill in front of the windshield. There are two 10mm nuts on each rod that allow you to move the blades in and out.
I can not agree more. I can't seem to get a good motor or cover... at least nothing that'll last very long. Makes it tough during safety sticker time! The wiper motor is my most hated item on this car... next to my "never seems to want to be fixed" dash.
