Guideplate Install

I'm switching from self-aligning rockers to NSA's. The position of the guideplates can vary just a bit. Any certain way to make sure these are installed properly?

Position the guide plates so the alignment of the push rods causes the roller tip end of the rockers to be centered over the valve stems.

Interestingly my Dart heads didn't do that perfectly. I called up Dart and they said it is normal and not to worry. I went to my mechanic and he said, it will be fine, but he always runs the Isky adjustable guideplates so that every push rod is set up right.

If I could've afforded it at the time, I would've done it.
