I have a big problem with my corvettes theft system. Whenever the theft fuse is in place and my car is locked no matter what I do to open it the alarm will go off. Even when I stick the key into the door and open the door the alarm goes off. I can't figure out what is wrong with it. Right now whenever I drive the car and I want to lock it I have to take the theft fuse out so the alarm wont go off. I've been pulled over 2x for people calling the police on me saying I stole the car. Gets kinda old after a while and I need a fix.

Take the door panel off and check the switch inside the key cylinder in the door.
Have you tried both doors? If neither door lock switch works then you need to look elsewhere. If the Passenger door lock switch turns off the alarm then maybe the drivers door lock switch is defective?
