Picked it up today - Window fixed!!
Nice to have it back from the shop! They had it since Monday. It was done Wed but couldn't pick it up until today. Thought he would take it easy on the bill since I didn;t push to get it back and he did. Took the door apart, put in the $35. outer moulding, checked out everythingelse which was ok and charged me $67. total, parts and labor. Not bad!!!! He also said that there is not much else in there that could be causing the scrathes and scrapes and that the felt on the rubber outer moulding he replaced was brittle and really worn so I am hoping this was my problem.
Since hes a big NASCAR fan, he did say he rode it around a little. I told him no problem as I know he was very careful. He actually put it inside every night he had it. I ask him if he hammered it a little and he said he didn't . I told him he should have as Vettes love to run. He laughed.. I told him I wouldn't have minded. Any way the babies back in the garage and going to work with me tomorrow!!m God Bless America Don
