Got a simple question....but since my car is in the shop...I can't simply look under the hood.
My car is in the shop for a blown head gasket. They removed both heads & are in the process of rebuilding them before reinstalling a new head gasket.
Would they have to remove or disconnect the A/C compressor for this?
Reason why I ask....is that my a/c probably needed a recharge. I figure if they had to automatically remove the a/c...they would recharge it as they reinstall the heads. I can call & have them 'check' the a/c...but didn't want to get billed for something if it could be avoided or if it was unnecessary.
