No, the engine don't need to come out, just the radiator and air conditioner condenser

You have to loosen at least motor mount and jack up the motor about 1 inch.

but only necessary if you have a 'vert or Z51 or Z52 coupe. Those have a bigger "wonderbar" crossmember. Otherwise, it should clear without lifting the motor at all.

No, just everything in front of the motor, but you might have to raise it a bit.

On my 87, no motor lifting needed. The AC condensor can stay hooked up, just move it forward a bit.

There is not enough room to remove/replace the cam in my 85. But, there is enough "slack" in the AC hoses to roll the condenser out of the way. Then you got gobs and gobs of room.

On my 89, I had to lift the motor about 1". It is doable, but next time I will pull the motor and make it much easier.

What about on a 95 vert? I've already had the radiator in and out. I'm more concerned about the condensor. Can the AC condensor just be moved aside to install a cam or does it need to be disconnected?
Thanks

I haven't looked at it yet. but does the oil pan on an LT1 need to be dropped like on the earlier small blocks?
