DO NOT install a 160 and do not expect much or anything by going to a K&N. If anything, you'll only see a very slight HP improvement when you modify others things too. Just throwing in a K&N will do you nothing but make your wallet lighter.
You assume that increasing airflow at the filter increases horsepower. That's a lousy assumption, but that doesn't stop ricer magazines from telling it to inexperienced car owners to trick them into buying high flow air filters. What really matters is the velocity of air entering the ports, which will in fact slow down when you open up the flow too much for the RPMs you're running at. Most likely the only measurable result will be your torque/RPM curve becoming more peaky, which is generally a bad thing unless you happen to drive at the same constant RPM at all times (hint: you don't).
If you want a minuscule improvement in your peak power number so you can impress your friends with that number, you'll probably want this mod, but if you care about your car actually being faster in reality, then this isn't the mod for you.
