I got 2.5 true duals with the borla mufflers too....sounds pretty mean but there is a drone type noise @ low rpms .... for me - i just turn the volume up the on the radio a bit. There are lots of write-ups on this topic here on the forum....do a search for the fix.

I was very happy when I morphed a ZR-1 exhaust midpipe, which is a 2 3/4" dual resonator with my flowmasters. This covered up alot of the drone noted in daily driving.

Luckily, VR'92 held onto these.

Corsa is probably your best bet to de-drone it...Thing is with 3" straights youll get resonance no matter what, Im right there with you, mie resonates horribly at most anything under 22-2300....Yet its quiet outside the car 2.5" pipe will help. If youre on a budget, just use the mufflers and reduce down from 3" to the muffler, it wont hurt anything.
The center type resonator does a lot to quiet it down. I have 2 bullet type resonators that dont seem to do much except add weight.

This is why I don't like the Corsas - because they primarily use only one outlet per side except under heavy acceleration, one pipe is almost perfectly clean, the other black. Looks like one pipe is fake.
They also have a higher pitched "tuner sound" (sounds cool, but I like my Vette to sound like a Vette, not a wanna-be Ferrari)

B&Bs look way cooler, have a lower (and louder) rumble, and do have a drone - the trade-off is worth it to me, although many others here would disagree.

I'd do Magnaflows before Corsas. Just my own preference.

Hello,
I needed true duals but did not want to hear all of the noise for 'Flow-Masters'.
I think a good dual set-up with true turbo mufflers might be Okay.

I just want you All to be Safe, -John
