fan comes on at 185 degrees
I installed a new t stat and a new fan sensor in my 89 roadster yesterday, mid America book said the sensor would come on at 200 degrees and off at 185, they forgot to mention it was the aux fan that comes on not the main fan, also the fan comes on at 185 not 200, replaced connector on sensor also, anyone else have this problem?

I'm going to order a GM aux fan switch from 18carfan, it's part # 3053190 SWITCH; it's reputedly a 200* aux fan switch...

I was never able to find a fan switch that would do what they said it would do. I tried three, they would come on at around 200 but would never shut off, so I left the 180 stat in and changed back to the stock setup and it works find.
