Edelbrock's new blower crate engine
Still trying to figure out what they were thinking on this one.
They based it on a ZZ4 long block, complete with hypereutectic pistons!
$10,709.95 for 507chp
and then you right on the limit for what that long block is rated for

yea,motor I wouldn't pay half that for. Hypers in a blown motor,9.5 compression with a roots blower and its got edelbrocks name stamped on magnachargers supercharger. for $10k......
With my 144 B&M blower/rebuilt shortblock,heads,cam/accesories,im under $5k for 450-460hp with 6psi. Might not be as effiecient as the Eaton design but,it works for less than half the price for me currently.

I guess I shouldn't have spoken too soon on the compression ration remark
I myself am not 100% sure of my true compression ratio weither its 8.25-8.75 to 1 comp. No a big problem with 6psi roots but I should know since I put it together.
Someday....someday,there will actually be a centrifigual and EFI in that old clunker.
