Hopefully I'll be able to start on the base next week. It's an Accel that is actually pretty clean already (bought it from a forum member that had already done some work to it) but it still needs a little transition work.
Youll probably need to hand make plenum gaskets, or if worse comes to worse weld a bit on to the thin area and touch it up just a bit.

I've already made gaskets starting out with the Mr. Gasket large tube runner gasket set. I just took the gaskets did rough cut in with an xacto knife then fine tuned them with a dremel and sanding barrels.
I'm hoping with a little sealant on both sides of the gaskets I can avoid any vac leaks if not than I'll go the route of having material added.
Metal shavings in the hands weren't nearly as bad as the one that managed to somehow make it down my shirt, in my pants and in my shoes. That crap gets everywhere and some of the places it gets amazes me, I sure don't envy those who do this **** for a living.
