Manual switch for N2O
I've got an 89 coupe with an automatic ( ) that I'll soon be installing a 05151 kit on. My question is
this: How/where do I mount a manual button to engage? I'd rather have it on my shifter if possible....
You can put it anywhere you can reach it. I had mine on the steering wheel, very ricer style, but I got alot of cool comments on it. Just a big red button that I picked up at radioshack. If you do put it on the steering wheel I'd suggest putting it so you use it with your left hand, even with an auto you need to shift the car sometimes.

You'll want atleast one hand on the wheel and possibly one hand on the shifter. If you are using a manual switch then those are your two options. I wonder if you can do a trigger type device on the front of the shifter. That would keep it out of sight of most people. You might have to cut up part of the shift **** to get it in there though.
Your other option might be a Jeopardy style buzz in button. Basically a 1"x4" cylinder with a button at the top and a cord. That way you can hang on to it when you want to use the stuff and coil up the cord and put it in the center console when you don't.
Its all about what you think would work the best for you and your driving/racing style.

Yeah, I need a double-button shifter ****....anyone seen one? I'm going to e-mail teh folks at flameball
to see if they can make one....it makes sense to me that if you can make a shift ball with teh button to pull
it out of park, and light it up too, you can install a second switch....
