I bought a Greenwood Hood Scoop to make it work. You have to cut the HSR down (some have done it, don't know how) or you have to cut a hole in the hood and put a hood scoop on it.

That looks radical. I might go with the greenwood option, I do not know yet it could be a deal bracker for me and decide not to install it after all.

There are other intakes out there that don't require cutting up the hood, and give better performance with your stock motor... Super-Ram, Mini-Ram for instance. The new BBK looks promising too.
