LIFTERS FROM ECKLERS
I was looking at Ecklers site and found new lifters for SB and BB. The lifters are the same part. Is this :bs ? Are these the lifters I need to install with the LT-4 Hotcam Kit on a 93 LT-1 auto? It is part #A5781. I appreciate the help.

Brian, those aren't the lifters you need.
Part #A5781 are for 1955-1980 engines. You need hydraulic ROLLER lifters. I don't see those in the Eckler's catalog, offhand, but you might call and ask. They have a lot of parts not listed in the catalog. Otherwise you can get them from GM. Comp Cams also makes an excellent 3rd party roller lifter.

They have 'new' take outs for $100. I'm not sure what they cost other places but you can compare I guess.

These are not what you want. You want Roller lifters. I think the regular Comp Cams ones are great! If you want a little added insurance for $10 more you can get the Comp Cams "R" lifters. They are AWESOME pieces.
