That sounds like the way to go.

1 minor correction to ensure you get the correct fasteners: The SR plenum threads are fine (1/4-28) and the nut threads are coarse (1/4-20).

I have a box of 100 1/4-20 kep nuts on hand, so let me know if you need some or have trouble finding them.

Youve been a huge help so far. My superram is suppose to show up tomorrow and the studs on friday!

...is there anything special i should look into getting to make the install a little smoother? I read on thirdgen.org the stock throttle bracket doesnt work with the kickdown cable?

What if you got the kit used and don't have said bracket.

It looks as if my original bracket will work, but I won't know until I go to screw it on.

Call Lingenfelter or Accel. They might be able to help you. My manifold got broken by some clown and they sold me one.

When I installed mine I got the brackets mixed up and found out when I couldn't get the TV cable in. It jams right into the plenum.

I looked at both parts just now. I think the stock bracket will work if you put it in a vice and make the angle a little sharper - then oblong the lower bracket hole with a file.

Thanks. I'll have to wait till I get it together to see how it fits..

As for vacuum connections.

There's a provision for three on the back of the intake:

1. To the fuel pressure regulator.
2. To the thing (forgot technical term) that mounts right over those holes
3. To the firewall for the internal vacuum devices, like air diversion doors.

Do I have that right?

Sounds like you manifold absolute pressure sensor. You do have speed density, right? If not, I would plug it off.

Thanks guys. I studded the plenum and I'm waiting on the gaskets.

I had a problem with the threads on the manifold, I had to re tap them, that's why I needed to order new gaskets.
