Auto Climate Control Error??
Hi everyone. I just purchased my '90 Coupe (I'll get pictures up on the General Forum as soon as I can clean it...weatherstripping is shot!), and am trying to go through & get it all working properly.
Sometimes, when I start it up, the Climate Control Display shows "--", instead of a temp. If I turn the car off, and restart it, it comes up with the temp. So, essentially, I guess it sometimes needs to be reset, in order to function properly. When it shows the "--", the fan is on, but the control buttons have no effect on what's happening.
Should I be looking at the control itself? Is there anywhere that I may be able to pull a problem code from?

You might also try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. That will erase anything stored in memory and give it a fresh start.
