Lound squeal when turning wheel
There is a loud squeal coming from the front, driverside, tire area, when I turn the stearing wheel(the stearing wheel feels limp when the squeal happens too). This only happens for about a minute or so when I first start it up after sitting overnight. I checked my power stearing fluid and it is a bit low(still above the "add" though) so I'll add some more. Could that be the problem? Any other Ideas? Today was the first time this has happened.

Maybe your belt is slipping when cold, then warming up and getting "sticky" I know it's a long shot, but it could be just that simple.
BTW, the belt for the 92 is a $40 dealership only item, double sided POS.

Which belt would that be? I know some were replaced about a year and a half ago. Also why would the stearing wheel go limp if it were a belt?

Yeah now that I think about it it seems like its the belt. It was the coldest day in about 8 months here in san jose. Thats probably it. How long are these belts supposed to last? It was replaced about a year and a half to two years.
