Default injector problem

Just alittle history...My 90 died suddenly, fuel pump worked, replaced fuel filter, checked fuses, relays...fuel presure....pulled off injector at front of engine, drivers side to hook up test light......The car started!!!!!!!!! put injector back on, and it wouldn't start. Any reason fo this? Is this position a special position?

The fuel injection on a '90 is batch fire, meaning injectors 1,3,5,7 fire at the same time and 2,4,6,8 fire at the same time. The left injectors and the right injectors are tied to their respective banks. Generally if you put a wire across the fuel injector terminal (ie zero resistance), you would blow the corresponding quad driver for that bank. The left and the right bank both have a different fuse, which might be a good place to check current through the circuit IF you have an ammeter capable of reading at least 5 amps. -Matt-
