This bugger must be hidden somewhere! The GM Manual states how to check it functionally but I certainly cannot find the damn thing under the hood.

Do any of you folks have a clue?

Thanks

I don't have an answer to your question, but I have some related information to share.

The low coolant sensor is no longer available from dealerships. I've ordered one from one of our Vette-specific suppliers. If you are planning to replace a radiator or need to remove this sensor, you might want to have a new one on hand. The O rings can be replaced but the stupid plastic arms that secure the sensor to the radiator are sure to break when removed.

You should be able to follow the wiring to the radiator.

The "low level coolant sensor", is on the passenger side end of the plastic radiator tanks. It has a single wire going to it. It's the same sensor that was used on my "91" Camaro RS.

Ecklers has it for $12.99.

Ain't under the hood. All the above misread your post.

You're looking for the module not the sensor.

The low coolant module is under the passenger side hush panel. The piece that has the foot courtesy light is the hush panel. Remove it, stick your head in there under the dash, and look straight up. It has a 4 wire connector. It looks like this.

It will either be black like this one or transparent. That is the low coolant module.
