Default Passive Keyless Entry

Yesterday when driving around town, I noticed the PKE light in the DIC came on twice. It didn't seem to affect anything but it makes me wonder why it would do that. This is the first time it has done it too. Any thoughts as to why it would do this? Thanks all

OK, it went away for about a week but now it's back. Drove around yesterday with the PKE light on. Even tried programming my transmitter when I got home and now I can't even get it to go into program mode. What's up with this thing?????

I was having a problem with my PKE, turns out the driver's side door switch is bad. I'm pretty sure this is what was causing my intermittent problem.
Also check the PKE fuse. I pulled my fuse out about 5 months ago before I figured out what
the problem was. I'm replacing the door switch but still leaving the fuse out, I can live without PKE.
