no shift light

Default no shift light
can any one tell me how to repair broken shift light on 90 model vette I have an auto trans with odrive light on dash previously came on when i would shift from 1st to 2nd 3 to 4th and 4th into overdrive until i had trans rebuilt last year now it only comes on when shifted in too low. does not tellme when too shift in too higher gear

My 87 has an upshift light in which only comes on if you are in D for too long when you hit over 45mph.. it will then come on to shift into OD.
