Best high-temp engine paint?
Hi everyone,
I need to repaint an oil pan (black) and want to use something that will hold up to the heat as well as fluids. Anyone use a specific brand with good results? (I already did a search and didn't find anything)
Thanks!

I a rattle can had good luck with VHT. There are a bunch on the market today.
If you dont mind some prep work the POR-15 makes some kickazz engine paints, it will never fade, chip, nothing. Looks new 5 years after applying.

I'm with above...I've used on blocks and they both look marvelous...several years later.
Cheers!

I used VHT caliper paint for the whole bottom end. My calipers still look good after 5 years, using the same paint.

Mercury marine!!!!
Mercury Marine boat outdrive paint is AWESOME. I use it on all motors. It
even survived the hot vat on several blocks and looks great too.
