Hi all, I've been in the middle of an LT1 intake swap on my '86 and I was wondering if anyone had any info to keep the air conditioning working with it. atm I had to take a rubber hose (vacuum?) to make clearance for the TPS...
also have an lt1 intake on my 86, don't stand under the problem...i DO have a 1.25'' thick spacer between t-body and plenum to simplify my throttle linkage and that reqd minimal bend in the hose from the t-body to the crankcase vent.
btw, the 1.25'' spacer was left over from early experiment on the TPI where it added nothing, maybe IT is what makes the lt1 intake work so good ??
hmmm that's odd lemme try and find a picture but there was definately a hose in the way of the TPS wire I had to take out, it was about 1" wide rubber, it was about 2.5" long and it bent right in front of the TPS sensor...
thats not my only problem, the Throttle body throttle linkage is also in the way of the AIR system, though I think I may be able to adjust the AIR system out of the way... if not I can delete it.. been fun so far, I think I'm missing something.
