Is some lifter tick ok ?
I have EPWI or scorpion aluminum 1.6 full roller rockers on my oem hyd roller lifter 383 with brodix race rite 200 heads in my 87. I am getting some ticking from the top end I first adjusted the rockers too tight then made a valve cover to adj while running. The way I adj them was while at Idle loosened the retaining nut until they clacked then tightened until the clack went away then a 1/2 turn clockwise. I am noticing some ticking at idle in gear and at cruise rpm I here it in the cockpit while driving. Idle rpm is 750 to 800 @ 21 psi oil pressure and cruise rpm is around 2000 rpm @ 58 psi oil pressure. I know I should have some ticking with these rockers but I don't know how much is too much. Tomorrow is dyno tune day and I don't want to tune with lifters that are too loose. The motor has 50 miles on it if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance for any help
