Default Help w/ 84 rear mono spring

I think my rear mono spring has fatigue, Isw there anyone here w/ a spring out that can measure a spring setting on its ends arch up , measure from center of spring to horizontal surface spring is setting on. I know these springs are tough and I have called several suppliers asking the same question and they don"t have time.I am getting ready to reinstall and if I need new now is time. Before removal when car was jacked up ,no pressure on support bolt, a 2" space. I have tried search method -no luck Thank You Craig

I always thought that when these springs went bad they would crack, splinter, break or completely fail and that they were not supposed to deform and fatigue like a steel one would.

Usually they do crack, but I have seen them fatique. There are several rear springs for the C4, so you can't really go by arc. Bad shocks will affect ride height also.
