Spline count on 4 + 3?

I am in the process of putting a BB into my 88. Believe it or not I will be putting an old 4+3 behind it - running as just a 4 speed. Landspeed car - want the final drive to be 1 to 1, fitment issues - no issues with HP breakage etc.

anyway I have a race clutch that came with the BB. It has a 10 spline clutch plate. I want to see if the local clutch guys can just change out the spline assembly on the clutch to save some money and timew.

So- is the T56 a 31 spline input shaft? or a 27? anyone know right off the top of their head?

I have a 1986 with a 4+3. Where did your T56 come from?

Anyway, it's a 26 spline input shaft on my 1986.

The input shaft on the 4+3 is a 26 spline. The 4-speed portion is a Borg-Warner Super T-10, not a T56
