AC Compressor Mounting clearance...

I had to get taller valve covers to fit the new rockers I had.
The AC compressor is very close to the valve covers since they are slightly taller.
Think I can put two SMALL washers between the compressor and the bracket to set it off a little?
The bolts are 8MM, about 5/16. So that's the size of the washers I'd use
I don't think it will do anything to the bracket or create any additional stress.
Opinions?

Is it close to the AC itself or the AC bracket ? I notched out the AC bracket to allow for clearance of valve covers for removal. If the washers make it work, just make sure there tight, maybe put some loktite on the threads.

The washers would go between the compressor and the bracket to move the compressor out a little.
2 or 3 washers will do the trick.
