Default Heads Are Being Decked

Due to a gasket blowout, both heads need to be decked, and apparently I need to reseat the valves and get new seals. What else should I do with these heads while they are out? Car is stock 93 LT1.

If you are interested in performance upgrades have the heads ported. It is the best single upgrade you can invest in.

WTF, they are already out. Do it.

Also, I'd look at five angle seats and new parts, all of them. Springs, valves, ect...

If youre leaving the stock cam in doesnt have to be an expensive overkill type port job but the stock heads do need some help. Youll feel it SOTP. At least port match the intake and do some bowl work, minimum. Shouldnt run more than a few hundred.
