6054 is a generic number. Some manufacturers will have both glass and plastic lenses. Wagner, Sylvania, and Phillips all have versions with glass or plastic lenses.
BTW, a glass lamp will work fine in the car. There is not that much extra weight to cause issues with the later headlamp motors. And glass lenses will not get scratched or hazy.
I ran a set of Hella glass lamps in my 92 for close to 6 years and never had any issue with the motors and gears. The Hella lamp housings were heavier than a standard glass 6054 lamp due tothe thinckness of the lens and the glass having a lead content for strength.
My 87 currently has Sylvania SilverStar glass lamps and have been in there for 3 years with no problems.
