Default Melrose Header Install

Installing a Melrose smooth flow header system on a 94 LT1 and having issues getting the pipes to align. the headers bolted up without issue and the left and right front pipes slid on without and issue. However the right (passenger) side pipe is in the center of the tunnel and the x pipe will not connect.

I called Melrose and they sent another header and front pipe for the right side and the pipe is the same and the header looks the same (have not removed original header yet).

The question I have is should I just bend the front pipe to see if that fixes the alignment problem or bite the bullet and see if the problem is in the header and replace it.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Looks like the exact same issue as Spintec showed in his photos.
