You will need to pull the codes from the computer. FX3 has an actuator on each shock that goes through a "Start Up" procedure. The actuators turn the top of the shock, that is how the adjustment is made. so it could be any of the four actuators, any of the four shocks and there is probably more that could go wrong too.
FX3 codes are read following a different procedure from normal DTCs.
Before you even check the codes visually verify that the front shocks' actuators haven't come loose due to failed retainer. I've never had that problem but it used to be a common complaint.
To pull the FX3 codes, ground pin #3 of the ALDC with the key in the run position, engine off.
Count the flashes of the SRC light.
12 Start of DTC sequence
13 or 33 Left rear
14 or 32 Right front
21 or 31 Left front
22 or 34 Right rear
23 loss of vehicle speed sensor (This can be a false reading if you've started the car three times without driving it.)
41, 42, or 43 SRC ground/short/open/switch between settings.
Every engine start, the actutors spin their full CW and CCW travel then adjust to the selected setting. If one or more don't find a stop or move too slowly the system throws a code.

If the car is turned on and off without actually starting it, the SRC light will come on. It is supposed to turn off once it is driven. If it stores a trouble code in the ECM it will have to be reset before the light will go off. Once I reset mine the SRC works normally. I will search my FSM for the reset procedure.
I had the problem, the actuator was cracked, nothing wrong with the shock. You can unplugged the actuators and look inside. That would be a start. maybe a loose connection and once...the selector level; was in between touring and perf
Hope you fix it. FX3 is an expensive system to fix if it requires parts
