Default Codes, M4,H44,H77,M1

OK, I pulled the following codes
M4
H44
H77
M1

via the display.

This relates to the systoms mentioned below. I would welcome feedback on the menaing of the codes. For some reason I cannot find the code list in either Helms manual (it is one those days I suppose)

Thanks guys

My original post is below....

I have a 95LT1 coupe, P class engine. 170K miles.

I have situation that generates a code, but also causes the fans to activate. The AC is not on.

This usually occurs at a stop light and a rough idle situation occurs, the sys light comes on, the engine runs smooth again, and the fan comes on.

The engine is not running hot, no other problems seem to exist. When otherwise driving the engine is always smooth, in fact seems to run well, only at idle does the problem occur. accleration seems fine.

The exhast seems to smell rich, bit I admit that I am not the best judge.

The Helms manual text states there are codes that will cause the fan to come on, in addition to a high temp, but it did not provide details.

I will pull codes today, but I wished to compare that result with any feedback anyone has to offer.

Thank you

Check your fan relays, H77 is a fan relay circuit code. H44 is an o2 sensor lean code, may be why your car is smelling rich. Check for an exhaust or vaccuum leak.
