I've got a 1985 (Forged Piston) L98 engine with 1987 128 Alloy Heads and a LT1 Intake Conversion.
Moving from the original Iron Heads to the Alloy ones has pushed the compression ratio up... am I likely to have trouble when I put the bottle on it?
Its on a 7730 ECM and have access to a scanner/burner.
I've got the NOS 5151 (TPI) kit that I'm going to use, with a Mini 2 Stage controler. The throttle body plate and solendoids are all plumbed in so its just the bottle and the wiring left to go.
the problem is tpi intakes are made for air only.......so with a wet shot you will have lean cylinders........also with 11-1 and nos you might lift the heads and one cylinder will light the other while the other clyinders valve is open........BOOM.........ask me how I know
