Sweet, nice times

I've been wanting to go to the track, but i've either been too busy or their not open. Also I need a helmet since my new mods will probably put me in the mid to low 13's.

Neat had 3 milestones today:

First 12 on motor
First 11
First time not breaking something in a while

Congrats on the great times. Pretty stout for a stock TPI!

This was at Rockingham, the same place Jonescap ran his 11.77. Today Jonescap ran an 11.78 at Fayetteville, a completely different track about 100 miles away from Rockingham.

Josh is still losing some et since he has to shift to 5th to finish out the 1/4 mile. It kills the rpm on the 4-5 shift. Nice run Josh!

I'm ready to see the 150 shot!

Cars are either factory freaks or you just got some really good air. SFL air is only good in the winter and or when it is cold. I am usually half a second slower during the summer time...

Yes; the plenum, runners, and base have never been removed from the car. They are 100%, non-ported, as installed by GM. As far as I know, my NA time is the fastest non power adder stock TPI manifold time there is. I'm also pretty sure that I'm only about .05 off the mark for power adder and stock TPI intake.

With any luck, on a 150 shot, I might be the fastest stock TPI intake car there is.

Must be a factory freak...
Thanks, it does run pretty good.

It only made 230 RWHP with long tubes and no tune, so I don't think it's a factory freak. After I tuned it, it made 261, then 270 once I added 1.6 roller rockers.

The 4-5 shift does suck, but hopefully I'll swap out the intake soon and be able to rev it past 4800.
