What are ET streets?

What are ET streets?
Is this a brand or a generic type of tire? A lot of people refer to them here, but I have never seen anything with this name at Tirerack, OnlineTires, or any other internet tire vendor.

ET streets are bias ply drag radials (most DRs are radial ply, like BFGs); I'm not sure if ET streets are generic or only MT.
ET streets have a more flexible sidewall than radials so they tend to hook better. On the down side they are a little "squirmy" at the top end, especially if running radials up front.

Mickey Tompson makes the ET Street. The sidewalls will give a wrinkling effect that puts more tire to the ground. They're not much in the rain, but at the strip they hook
