Default LPE heads feedback please

I am contemplating having LPE port and prepair the heads on my '91 L98. Does anyone else out there have LPE L98 heads? Are they worth the price? Or should I buy a complete new casting instead of having my stock heads ported? Any feed back - info is appreciated.

Thanks,
C44EVER

At their price... I would just buy a new set of AFRs with the work done and ready to be dropped in. You'd still have your old heads just in case. :)

You could go with AFR, or any other aftermarket head. I have the LPE D Ports...and they are VERY good performers. 117 MPH in the 1/4 with stock heads p+p on a 383 isn't too shabby IMO.

The LPE ported heads do perform very well. They install these heads on the 383 and 420 Superram packages.

The cost of the heads is close to $2400.
