Ive been trying to fix a service abs/service asr/asr off light problem for a week now...
I have a dtc 23 in module 9(rf vss continuity malfuntion). Well last night i replaced the rf hub/bearing,the car has 118000 mile so it was due a new bearing anyway, and the vss in the tranny. Still no fix, so now im down to chasing a wiring problem i guess?? The helms says use a breaker box but i dont have one, i do have a volt meter. The rf wheel sensor wire runs from the wheel to below the fender and then i lose it i cant see where it continues on too. Has anyone else ventured down this road?? I really am gettin sick of these lights. I even followed the directions on how to clear the codes thru the diagnostic mode, and they still return. I also flushed and completely refilled the brake system that didnt help either.
You could just do an overall check to verify the problem is a broken wire by first disconnecting the battery then install a jumper in the connector at the rf pickup then using your Helm manual find the two pins at the device the sensor is routed to in a 95 (abs computer?). Measure the resistance/ohms at these two pins if its not near zero the cable is open somewhere.

Jumper: The common item used for a jumper is the paper clip bent to insert into the connector.
You may want to find someone that is comfortable/experienced in electrical.
I would hate to hear you made things worse. The pins in the connectors can be damaged.
