A C4 Oil Filter Question

Just sold my C4 (the one that graces the top of this page) and went to a C5. AC Delco just discontinued the UPF44 (Ultraguard Gold) for the C5. Does anyone know if they discontinued the C4 (l-98 or LT-1) filters also? Wondering if it was just the UPF44 that wasn't selling or the whole line of filters.

They discontinued all the Ulta Gold , so we will have to find another, good luck Jim

You might try your local Amsoil dealer for good filters. My 89 L98 takes either the SDF-24 (long style) or SDF-25 (short style).

About 6 months ago I bought 6 from Ken Fichtner. You might want to see what he has in stock.

Having cut apart MANY oil filters in my life, I can recommend the Mobil 1 oil filter for a very quality construction. PF52 = 201 Mobil 1, do not know about the C5s, I bought 3 UPF44s when I got mine from Ken so I wasn't aware of the discontinuation.
