Corsa sounds great, remember you can always add resanators if it gets too loud for your liking. I would suggest finding your local corvette club and go for rides & listen for what you like.
I put Corsas on recently, have a stock 91 red vert. Check out my youtube clip at http://youtube.com/watch?v=x9XM1mpY_9o . It doesn't sound exactly like it does in real life, but you get the idea. I especially love the look of the stainless steel and 3.5 inch tips. It's very subtle at idle and Corsa is known for very little in-cabin resonance at high rpm, compared to other brands such as Borla and Flowmaster, from what I've read on the forum. The Corsas are a little pricey, but I got my system for about $850 from lmperformance.com. They were very easy to work with and the product arrived undamaged and on time. The install was a snap with no welding; removal was a little tougher because of some stubborn flange bolts. They were well worth it though and I enjoy them more each day!
Update: I checked lmperformance.com after posting and saw that they lowered the price to $786.54. I don't know what your budget is, but keep in mind that they do come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY to the original owner.... Just out of curiousity, do any others come with a lifetime warranty?

What is that "clinking" sound when you let off and the revs are dropping? Can you hear it in the car?
I was revving the car in neutral in an automatic. I took it up to like 6,000 RPM, into the redline, then totally let off of the gas (did this every time you hear the clinking noise) . I think it might be a rev limiter?? I'm not completely sure, but I really think it has something to do with taking it up really quick and high and then suddenly completely letting off. It does NOT make this sound during launch or any other time except for the aforementioned scenario. There were a couple comments to this effect on YouTube. The sound might also be picked up more because it is not as deep as this was shot with a digital camera. If my sony DVD camcorder wasn't stolen when my house was robbed, I would post another higher-quality video. Thanks for checking the video out anyways, hope this helps.
Regardless of how it sounds on video, it sounds amazing in real life. You have to be there to fully appreciate the throaty idle and crisp acceleration, especially if you take it from standing to off the tachometer like I did today. Everyone on my campus within 200 feet turned around and looked, lol. It is NOT obnoxiously loud though, just enough to get noticed! It really is a nice exhaust.

Best muffler for a reasonable price is to remove the mufflers, run straight pipe instead. $50-75 at any muffler shop. make sure they extend the tips past the bumper by 1/2 inch or so to reduce in-cabin noise/fumes.
It's not THAT loud, and if you drive in the low RPM range (under 2500 or so) no one will even notice you did anything to the car. At 3000+ though, it sounds nice.
You can also 'chamber' the straight pipe to get a different sound as well, I didn't do that though.
Did this yesterday, put on some C6 tips that I received from a friend locally (look around they pull off their mufflers all the time you can pick them up cheap) Sounds fantastic and I don't hear it over the stock delco stereo at cruise on the highway.
Magnaflow. . . .deep and throaty sounding. When you open it up, sounds really mean. Definete horsepower boost over factory mufllers.
If I get a chance I'll make a video to show you.

Search is your friend....
The best change i have done to the vette. Removed mufflers added LT1 tips.
Depending on your budget, either muffler elims ($100) or Corsa (closer to $1000). If you go to my website on PhotoBucket, you can see a BUNCH of videos of my car that I took for another forum member. I like what I hear
