Ok I am not going to lie...I don't want to tear into my LT4 with no leaks to do the cam if I can keep away from doing so. Does anyone make a 1:7 rocker arm and what kind of improvements would one expect to see.
CompCams and Scorpion both make 1.7 ratio narrow-body rockers last I checked.
The CompCams offering is out of their Hi-Tech line and pretty pricey. $425 comes to mind.
Scorpion was around $200-210 a couple of years ago.
I think that they're both NSA, so you'll need hardened pushrods and guideplates. You'll also need new studs, as the LT4 stock studs are 10mm and the aftermarket pieces will be 3/8" or 7/16". (might as well go with 7/16" if you upgrade.)
You already have 1.6 roller rockers, so the benefits won't be as great as the LT1 guys going from a 1.5 ratio stamped steel rocker to a 1.6 roller.
I'd think you'd net somewhere between 5-10hp, but hopefully one of the LT4 guys will have more qualified feedback on this.

Looks like I am screwed....to put different studs on I am looking at machine work..IE..pull the heads. I think 4:10's just might have to do this season!
