when should fan turn on?
what temp do they come ,on mine around 205. would this mean may have chip in it? bought used so not sure. the other owner had put vortek ram- air so im thinking maybe it has chip. g-tech numbers are only 1-2 tenths slower than 98 ta i traded for it.94 c-4. thanks

I would expect the vette to be about 1-2 tenths off the TA... thats about it. These old beasts are rather quick... and are lighter and have better traction than the TA/Z28s...

theyre supposed to come on at around 235, but i think it actually varies more than they tell us. Theres no way to tell if you have a chip w/o opening it up, or do 94's have to be flashed? If your fans come on at 205 for no apparent reason (A/C or whatever) then your computer has been reprogrammed.

Umm I dont think there are chips for the 94... They changed the computers so you have to use a plug in programmer. (through diagnostic port i think)
i might be wrong though, but i feel pretty sure on this one
