Default Plugs and SC set up

Anyone running a L98 Supercharged setup, I understand it depends on all the mods doen (heads, fuel etc), but I am trying to figure out what plugs I should have in my L98, (procharger P600B, Heads supposely redone to accomadte blower with fuel pump and roller rockers)

Reason I ask, in the chiltons manual it has the stock AC Delco number, but the plug I pulled out is a diffeent number, Thanx

OK i removed some plugs from the passenger side and they look normal

The lugs installed ar AC Delco 41-629, and they seem to be gapped at .030-.032,

manual calls for AC delco FR5LS for 85 and newer L98 with .035 gap.

So here is my setup , if anyone can recomend a plug and gap that would be great.

As mentioned Procharger P600B with Intercooler and fuel management with fuel pump.

Heads redone , valve job, guides, Roller rockers (dont know the ratio, but they are blue ), I was told thicker head gaskets to get the 9:1compression.

Exhaust is stock except muffler eliminators.

I have reset the timing to 6 degrees BTDC.

It also has the Hypertech race/street coil and distributor cap, MSD 8mm plug wires.

Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

What year is the car? If '88 - '91 (as in 113 heads), then my before mentioned recommendation still stands. You should be targeting 9.3 - 9.8:1 scr.

Yes its a 88, what is the gap recomended for the plug you mentioned.

I see the Rapidfire AC Delco #5 plugs are a replacement for the FR3LS6, FR5LS, if so are they gapped at .045. or do they come pregapped.

Thanx.

Gap at 0.032" - 0.035". I would start at 0.035" and if there are no issues, I would leave as is. The wider the spark gap (to a point), the better the idle quality will be. When you start closing the spark plug gap, the idle quality tends to suffer.

Ah that explains the somewhat rough idle as they are gapped now around .032, thanx for the info Aaron, much appreciated
