New window regulator, window still does not go up

Update Solution: New window regulator, window still does not go up
Update ::::: Problem solved see last post............ I have a 93 LT1, and the driver window would not go up last week. Down was OK. Bought a new regulator w/motor, Delco part, and installed it today. When I tested it it went to the bottom but still would no go up. I hear a brief muted "click" when I try to raise it but that is it. Checked connections and they seen OK I am thinking it is the switch, even though it produces a small click when I try to raise the window. Anybody with any experience with this problem ?????

UPDATE: I took the window switch apart and cleaned and scraped the contacts. Broke off a few plastic tabs off the outer body prying it apart, but that was minor. And that fixed the problem !!!!!! Window goes up and down again. Now to adjust it.
