Thanks for info about people selling cleaned injectors as "New". I will be careful when I need new ones.
I'm no expert, but I would think there would be some wear on the moving parts after 120K when you think how many times a second those injectors are pulsed. Cleaning worn parts really seems like a waste of time and energy. I'd buy new.
Summit racing and TPIS are good places to shop. Are you sure the Fords are really Bosch or are they the Bosch type? I don't think the Fords are very high quality and they are noisy.
I'm pretty sure bosch makes them for ford (they have a "oval" logo on plastic tops) and are commonly refered to as an fms inj. The flow matched "fords" sold by summit are packaged and sold by ford. (that is why I put ford/bosch)
I just got to put my 2 cents in. I would go with FIC. They carry a 3 year warranty. Read everything he has on his site. www.fuelinjectorconnection.com I think when they are flow balance, or matched, what they do is measure the flow, and certain flow rates go into a bin with identical units. That way they are all closely matched units. Anyway, I will be going with FIC, heard many others have, and they where very pleased. I was going to go with the Accel's, but I have heard to many guys where having trouble with they cars loading up or running rich. Seems you can only get 19 or 24lb injectors from Accel, and not the 22lb some of us need.
