I have a 92, LT1, etc............My vette is driven just on sunny days. It can sit in the garage for a week and upon starting , it fires right up and comes to life. Now,......once the car is started and driven around town,......... parked for 10min,20min,1Hr, it seems to crank before firing up. Why would it explode to life upon cold start up but not after being warm?? Thanks

Had the same problem long ago. it turned out to be a faulty ECM. Keep the ECM cool and it would start. When ECM got hot there was a no start. Switched out ECM and problem was gone.

Leaky injectors can also give this situation. Hold the gas pedal to the floor next time you go to start the car when warm. This will shut off the injector pulses incase the injectors are leaking causing a flooding situation. You can also ohm the injectors and see if they are leaking with a fuel pressure gauge along with a few procedures.
