Acrylic top repair

Anyway to fix a crack in an acrylic top until I can source a new top. Just don't want any water to leak in for now. The fun never ends does it?

Do a search on this issue. IIRC someone posted a repair technique that uses crazy glue and some sort of powered material. Seemed like a great way to repair a crack.

I looked into this years ago looking for a decent permanent repair and didn't find one. For a temp repair, I would drill an 1/8'' hole at the end of crack and mask and caulk the crack and hole with clear silicone.

You can buy some gray tape at the local hardware store. I think it is called "duck" or "duct" tape. It even comes in other colors.
