1990 CYL head torque specs
? Anybody have the torque specs for 1990 L98? And yes I tried using the search and was unable to locate the numbers.

LOL Do it all the time. The problem I ran into is that it has factory allum heads and wanted to see if it was 65 FT LBS like a Iron head SB.
I did a little research and seems up through late 88 the torque specs were 65 for the long and medium bolts and 60 on the short bolts.
In 89 it changed to 67 FT LBS on all bolts. I wonder if this was one of the cures for the gaskets blowing?

If memory serves, short bolts are 60, all others are 65. I usually torque all to 65.
